Tomorrow, we leave

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of last minute organisation for this 94 day trip of a lifetime. 3 pairs of last minute boots for 3 crazy adventurers, living rooms sprawled with equipment better suited for 6,000m passes, essential gear deliveries occurring in the final hour and the constant whirring of dehydrators and vacuum dealers lent by generous friends.

Dehydrated and vacuum sealed sustenance

The excitement continues tomorrow with 12 air hours and a rendezvous in Singapore airport, followed by the inevitable monsoon which awaits in Kathmandu.

It’s all happening! Lots of stress under-toned by excitement and nerve, and frantic last minute repacks.

It’s finally happening and we hope to bring you along for this journey of ours 🙂 check out the map page over the coming weeks to follow along as we update with an Internet reach generously lent by a quality Tasmanian friend.

Thanks for all the support friends! Stay in touch with us 🙂

  1. Geez, Nic, your Dad will be having an anxiety attack seeing that pic of the living room! What an amazing adventure lies ahead. I hope to be able to catch up with your trip along the way.
